Now A Device That Prevents Spillage During Refueling

A new device, Fuel Spill Saver, which prevents fuel spill, has been introduced by a US-based Clean Marine Systems Corp.

According to the makers of automated electronic control devices that handle fluid of the vessels, bilge effluent tops the charts for polluting the marinas. At number two is spilling of fuel at the time of refueling in US waterways.

During a Press release the company said that, "The Fuel Spill Saver prevents any fuel from spilling into our waterways.  This it does by alerting the fuel attendant that the desired fuel level has been reached. Solid state electronics and a unique sensor detect the fuel level and alert the attendant with bright red LED's and a loud buzzer."

At present the device is available as a hand-held device or it can also be installed near the fuel inlets.

According to the company’s president Perry Anderson, "We are now bringing this product to market at a price that everyone can afford. We believe that all boaters should have the option to help keep our marinas clean."

The device can easily be installed with minimum of time wastage. With this device the need for fuel vents that are used to release fuel into the marinas is removed. Now the vents can vent the fuel tanks without spillage, the company added.
