The Suez Canal Authority has announced that Suez Canal Tolls will be increased effective from 1st April, 2008. The indicate approximate increase in Canal tolls will be as follows:
* Tankers of Crude Oil: 07.3%
* Tankers of Petroleum Products: 07.4%
* Dry Bulk Carriers: 14.7%
* LPG: 07.0%
* LNG: 10.5%
* Chemical Carriers & Other Liquid Bulk Carriers: 05.0%
* Container ships: 05.7%
* General Cargo Ships: 04.2%
* Ro/Ro Ships: 04.4%
* Vehicle Carriers: 04.4%
* Passenger Ships: 05.7%
* Other Vessels: 05.0%
