AIM Salutes La Crème De La Crème

Saluting la crème de la crème of the AIM alumnae and offering a fitting finale to the 39th Anniversary of the Asian Institute of Management, the Triple A and Alumni Leadership Fund Recognition Ceremony was held at the AIM Conference Center Manila on March 3, 2007.

Since 1975, the Triple A or The AIM Alumni Achievement Award is presented to individuals with excellent performance in various fields of professional, entrepreneurial, or developmental endeavor. It is the highest recognition given by the alumni community of the Asian Institute of Management to its outstanding graduates.

Joining this eminent club of recipients is Mr. Rajaish Bajpaee, (MM 1980) for the year 2007. A prominent name from the maritime fraternity, he is the President and Group Managing Director of the Eurasia Group in Hong Kong. His achievement showcases the new and the brighter face of the shipping industry of continuous improvement and adaptability.

From being appointed as the General Manager of the National Development Company (NDC) in 1992 to his role shift as the President and Chief Executive Officer of the National Transmission Corporation (TransCo) in 2006. His consistent exceptional performance has contributed to the enlistment of the managerial profession.

Ybhg. General Tan Sri Dato' Sri Haji Abdul Aziz Bin Haji Zainal, has been recently promoted as the Chief of Defence Force of the Malaysian Armed Forces. His personal traits of honesty, integrity, knowledge and unparalleled professional competence generate immediate confidence to others towards his leadership and management aptitude.

Ybhg. General Tan Sri Dato' Sri Haji Abdul Aziz Bin Haji Zainal was unable to attend the ceremony due to prior engagement. He will receive his award in April when he visits the Philippines. The ceremony was complemented with speeches by the awardees and group photographs. The basic criteria for the Triple A are excellence and capability related to the exercise of one’s profession.
