About the Event
SMEM is your priority gateway to the shipping industries of the UAE, Bahrain, East Africa, Egypt, India, Iran, Jordan, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia! In 2006, almost 6,000 executives from 63 countries attended Seatrade Middle East Maritime (SMEM). More than 45% traveled to SMEM from overseas, emphasising the international profile of the region's biggest show. Overall, with the growth of the exhibition and the hundreds of delegates at SMEM's parallel conference, the event grew by anamazing 42%!

Following this record showing in 2006, SMEM will expand even more for its fourth show, reflecting the tremendous growth in ship owning, management and all related maritime business in the region.

In 2008, SMEM will be even bigger and better. More national pavilions than ever will be on show, too - including China, Finland, France, Holland, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Turkey and the UK.

Seatrade Middle East Maritime 2008 will also feature a one-day Superyacht Solutions Conference on Tuesday 16 December.
